For a QC, QA, R&D or production workstation, the administrator selects the laboratory data folder and the Windows user who must not delete its contents. ControlShield applies Windows NTFS permissions to protect selected files and subfolders.
The analyst can continue approved work, while selected Windows actions can be restricted. Windows rejects protected deletion attempts with an Access Denied message.

- The installer includes the required .NET runtime, so a separate .NET installation is not normally required.
InstallationGet started in four simple steps
Run ControlShield-Setup.exe as Administrator.
Select the data folder to protect.
Enter the restricted Windows username.
Complete the installation, then restart or sign in again if required.
Important: Test the policy using non-production files before deployment. ControlShield should only be installed on computers owned or administered by your organization.
